This week has been good as always with a couple of neat experiences under my belt as well
Investigators: We have been able to work a lot with our golden investigator Elton and Lillianny this week in preparing them to get married and Lillianny Babtized! its amazing to see spiritual trials and growth on the personal level of a missionary and to be able to help people continue to move forward as well. Picture included below.
Zone Conference: Had another Zone conference this week and another amazing opportunity to eat some Chicken heart, which is turning into one of my favorite foods here, as long as its topped with plenty of Garlic. Also said goodbye to one of my good friends and the AP Elder Fuzarro who is a great missionary and an amazing example. Also included is a picture of other American Elders in our zone and Elder Fuzarro again.
Language and Expanding: The language continues to grow and improve for me especially this week as i could see throughout COnferences and meetings i was able to communicate better. The ward ahs almost doubled in size since being here and as well we hav eopened up a new area withing our ward as we prepare to split it into the area called "Mohetes" (good luck trying to say that in English)
Knowledge: This weeks message id like to share about knowledge. God in his mercy and loving kindness grants unto us, his sons and daughters the knowledge essential for their salvation and exaltation-including knowldege about the nature of god and about the doctrines and priciples of the gospel of jesus christ. Such knowledge is supplied through the scriptures, the cvoice of the living prophet, truths recieved in the temple, and through the whispirings of the Holy spirit as well. kKnowledge is willingly recieved by hearts that are humble and then applied with another christlike attribute, that of faith. The essence of knowldge is conveyed in the celebrated words from the lords interecessory prayer: "And this is life eternal, that they may know thee, the only true god, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent" (John 17:3) That being the case there is wisdom and plainess and clarity as well in the words of the prophet Joseph Smith "It is impossible for man to be saved in ignorance" (D&C 131:6) My invitation is for each and every one of us to continue through humble prayer and diligent study to find and recieve this knowledge and to use it in our lifes for the bettering of our own souls and for the souls of others as well. (For other References to knowledge see D&C 42:61, D&C 93:24, and D&C 130:18-19)
Well Thats all i have for this week! I love and miss everyone and i hope all is well! Youre all in my prayers!
