Tender Mercies...

May 3, 2017

I know that the Lord is watching over my son. When I get an email from him telling me that he was sick yesterday with a bug of some kind and a Missionary couple helped him out at the MTC. Then tells me that their name is Whittaker. And at the exact time of receiving the email, my hubby and I are on an ATV ride with our neighbor's, the Whittakers. So, I clicked on the Whittaker name my son sent me, the Whittaker in Brazil, and tell it to our neighbor Wayne Whittaker, and find out that the Brazil Whittaker is his cousin. I instantly clicked back on to the FB post by the Brazil Whittaker and yes, they are cousins. I told him to tell Matthew that he, Brazil Whittaker, is cousin's to our hometeachers/good friend/neighbor/ Whittaker's. Now, what is the chance, some 6000 miles, or how many away, that someone that helps take care of my son, who is sick, is a cousin to our good friends. It truly is a small world when things like that happen. I am SO thankful for the tender mercies that I feel blessed with this week, knowing that my son is being cared for and loved for by such great people. AND to receive the wonderful pictures that I did today from Sister Grahl. It makes my heart full of gratitude to them. I am so blessed and I know my son is being watched over.
