Today's email from Elder Ascott:
Alright so sorry be prepared for bad english and a not very long email, my time is only like 20 minutes today for some reason i hate it, i cant email any friends, so please send this out for me again until i hit the feild.
1. Bom dia! how is everyone at home, i also dont have a question mark on my keyboard this week so get ready for very awkard grammar. how are the dogs, etc.
2. ive made many new friends this week including elders kelley, rosedahl, snow, paxton, francis, gremaschi, correa, shumway, blount, and pierra.
3. i had a burger today on pday that was so american i teared up this is not a joke.
4. the temple was so good today i needed it and love the temple.
5. the language is coming along and moving forward this week, slow but steady.
6. yesterday (5/2/17) i got extremely sick from something i ate, luckily the doctor which only comes in like twice a week was in and diagnosed me with some bug in my system from the brazil food so even when i feel lonely now i can remember i probably have a worm inside of me to keep me company. also the whitakers, the old couple missionaries here in the ctm that are sweethearts, helped me alot too, i was prescribed some pills and i feel great today. its hard to get sick 3000 miles away from home without the jazz to watch.
7. the cookie shop across the street from the ctm is to die for.
8. this week i went prosolyting out on the streets in sao paulo. straight up talking to people and handing out books of mormon all in portuguese. we talked with the one kid named adam and shared our testimonies and moronis promise. it was great. elder eddington and i had no struggle unlike the rest of the missionaries and we gave out 9 books of mormon. it was amazing.
9. the schedule is pretty much the same everyday so its hard to come up with new things to write about in the ctm.
10. The fan in the cafeteria blew up this week though while eating breakfast, that was pretty lit.
11. sister marriott, the second counselor in the young womens general presidency addressed the ctm this week about love

13. we went to the federal police department this week and got our photo take and our fingerprints fingerprinted.
14. the kids here in brazil are champion ping pong players but good news is i can beat all the americans.

testimony- eu sei que o evangelho de jesus crist is muoito averdade e eu sei que o livro de mormon es muito a verdeida. eu amo meu familia e eu sei que now vevemos com essa por eternidade!
